Your wedding bouquet may only be fresh for a matter of days but preserving it gives you the opportunity to keep part of your wedding day for years to come. If you’re considering having your flowers professionally preserved, one of your first questions is probably a practical one: How much does wedding bouquet preservation cost?
The answer depends on the preservation method, the size and number of pieces you choose, and the experience you want to create from your flowers.
At Ali Ann Floral Preservation, individual keepsakes begin at $50, with a $500 minimum for a la carte orders. Our curated preservation collections range from $850 to $1,650.
Here’s what to consider when deciding what’s right for your bouquet.
How Much Does Resin Wedding Bouquet Preservation Cost?
Professional resin bouquet preservation can range from an individual keepsake to a collection of coordinating pieces made from the same wedding flowers.
At Ali Ann Floral Preservation, our à la carte pieces currently range from $50 for petite keepsakes to $675 for larger statement pieces, with a $500 minimum a la carte order. This allows you to combine individual pieces that feel the most meaningful to you.
For couples who would like to preserve their flowers across several coordinating pieces, our exclusive collections range from $850 to $1,650.
The amount you ultimately invest depends largely on what you’d like to create from your flowers.
What Affects the Cost of Bouquet Preservation?
The size and number of pieces you choose are two of the biggest factors in the cost of preserving your bouquet. A petite keepsake requires considerably less material than a large statement block or serving tray. Larger pieces also allow more of your bouquet to be incorporated into the finished design.
The quality of the materials used also matters. At Ali Ann Floral Preservation, we invest in high-quality, UV-resistant resin specifically chosen to help slow the natural yellowing that can occur with resin over time. We also use professional-quality molds designed to maintain their structure and produce the smooth, high-gloss finish that gives our pieces their polished appearance.
And finally, professional bouquet preservation is a highly hands-on process. Each bouquet is carefully prepared and dried. Every design is arranged by hand. Each resin piece goes through multiple stages of pouring, curing, sanding,b and inspection before it is ready to return home.
À La Carte vs. Preservation Collections
There isn’t one right way to preserve a wedding bouquet.
À la carte preservation allows you to select individual pieces based on the flowers you have, your style and how you’d like to display them. This can be a wonderful option if you have one particular piece in mind or want to build your own combination of keepsakes.
Our preservation collections pair some of our most-loved pieces into a more complete preservation experience. They’re designed for couples who want to transform their bouquet into several coordinating keepsakes rather than choosing just one.
Our current collections begin at $850 and range through $1,650 for our most comprehensive preservation experience.
What Can You Make From a Preserved Wedding Bouquet?
One of the advantages of resin preservation is the variety of pieces that can be created from the same bouquet.
Wedding flowers can become statement blocks and arches designed for display, as well as functional and smaller keepsakes such as serving trays, bookends, frames, coasters, jewelry dishes, ring holders and wine stoppers.
If you’re interested in several pieces, having additional flowers available such as bridesmaid bouquets can also give us more blooms to work with when designing your collection.
Why Does Professional Bouquet Preservation Cost More Than Simply Drying Flowers?
You’re not simply paying for flowers to be dried.
Professional resin preservation involves time, specialized materials, skilled design and multiple stages of hand-finishing.
Your bouquet also cannot simply be replaced if something goes wrong. These are flowers from one specific day, which is why working carefully and methodically throughout the process matters so much.
The result isn’t meant to feel like a craft project or a container of dried flowers. It’s a custom piece designed around the flowers you actually carried.
Is Wedding Bouquet Preservation Worth It?
That answer is personal.
Flowers are often one of the most beautiful and temporary details of a wedding. For someone who feels deeply connected to their bouquet, preservation offers a way to turn something that would otherwise fade into something that can become part of everyday life.
For some couples, that means one small keepsake. For others, it’s a statement piece displayed in their home. And for others, it’s an entire collection created from the flowers they carried down the aisle.
The best preservation choice isn’t necessarily the largest one. It’s the one you’ll be excited to see years from now.
When Should You Reserve Bouquet Preservation?
If you already know you want your bouquet preserved, we recommend reserving your wedding date before the wedding.
We accept a limited number of bouquets, and availability can become especially limited during peak wedding season. Reserving ahead also means you’ll receive instructions for caring for and getting your flowers to our studio after the wedding.
You don’t need to have every preservation piece selected when you reserve.
